Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Foundry Co Marketing LLC, dba The Foundry Co (“The Foundry Co,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit foundrycomarketing.com (the “Site”), fill out a form, call or text us, or otherwise contact us. The Foundry Co is a marketing agency based in Raleigh, North Carolina that works with contractors and other small businesses across the United States, offering website design, local search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads management, review campaigns, and lead follow-up.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and audit request forms. When you request a free audit or send us a message, we ask for your name, your company and trade, and your mobile phone number. The contact form also lets you add an email address, the service you are interested in, and a message. You can also choose whether to agree to receive text messages (see “Text messages (SMS)” below). When you submit a form, we also record the date and time, the page you used, your IP address, and whether you checked the text message box, so we have a record of your request and your consent choice. Form submissions are delivered to our business email inbox.
- Calls and texts. When you call or text our business line, (919) 804-1715, we receive your phone number, the date, time, and length of the call, the content of text messages, and any voicemail or other details you share. Calls to The Foundry Co may be recorded and transcribed by our business phone provider, Quo, so we can keep accurate records of your request and improve our service. If you do not want your call recorded, you can email us at [email protected] instead.
- Email. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Business information for an audit or project. To prepare an audit or provide services, we may look at public information about your business, such as your Google Business Profile, reviews, website, and search rankings. Clients may also give us access to accounts such as Google Business Profile, Google Ads, or website hosting.
Information collected automatically
- Server and security logs. Like most websites, the company that hosts our Site receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the date and time. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and fix problems.
- Cookies. The Site uses Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and ga followed by an ID) to tell one visit from another and to measure how the Site is used. The Site does not set advertising cookies. Our website fonts are hosted on our own Site, so loading a page does not send your information to a font service.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site. Using cookies and similar technology, GA4 collects information such as the pages you view, how you got to the Site (for example, a search engine or a link), how long you stay, your general location (city level), your device and browser type, and actions on the Site, such as clicking our phone number or sending a form. For a form, we record only that it was sent and which form it was, not what you typed. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. The Site tells Google Analytics not to use this data for Google signals or ad personalization. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy; see “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out at any time with Google’s opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your request and schedule and prepare your free audit;
- call, email, or (only with your consent) text you about your request, your appointment, or the services you asked about;
- provide, manage, and bill for services if you become a client;
- run, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- keep records and comply with legal obligations; and
- protect our rights and prevent fraud or misuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Mobile numbers and text message consent are not shared. We will not share mobile phone numbers or your text message (SMS) opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This does not stop us from sharing information with the service providers that help us run our text messaging program, such as our phone and texting provider, who may use it only to provide that service to us.
We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers who work for us and may use information only to provide their services to us. Our current providers are Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and delivery of form submissions by email), Google (website analytics through Google Analytics 4), Microsoft 365 (business email), and Quo (business phone and text messaging, including call recordings, transcripts, and voicemail). If we add other providers, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, they will be bound by the same limits.
- With your direction or consent. For example, when you ask us to work with your web developer, Google, or another vendor on your behalf.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and it will remain subject to this policy.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the text message consent box on one of our forms, or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from The Foundry Co at the number you provided. These messages are about your audit request, scheduling, follow-up on your inquiry, and, if you become a client, service updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. See the SMS Terms section of our Terms of Service for full details.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- inquiries and audit requests from people who do not become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact;
- client records: for the length of the engagement and as long afterward as needed for taxes, accounting, and legal purposes;
- text message consent and opt-out records: for as long as needed to show consent and honor your request.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your choices” below).
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the Site, access limited to people who need it, and reputable service providers. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices

- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may need to verify your identity. We may keep some information when the law requires it or for legitimate business records, such as a record of your opt-out.
